

This issue can also be discussed in relation to the fragmentation of the punk scene. This raises the question of the similarity between the perception of gender roles in the punk scene and that among the general and more mainstream culture. Except for the activist scene, in which women are still heavily involved, the ratio of men to women is uneven in other areas. One of the main findings is related to the specific perception of gender roles among members of the punk scene.

Through 21 in-depth interviews, the most common topics that arose were related to gender issues and perceptions of politics.
